In 1900, on behalf of the Canadian government, the American Bank Note Company added the 25-cent (also known as the shinplaster) to the denominations of Dominion of Canada banknotes. Only one signature adores these 1900 25-cent issued banknotes, which was the Deputy Minister of Finance at the time.
