This 1oz. .999 Fine Copper Round made by Beaver Bullion was produced as a reproduction of the reverse of a medal that was made in 1759, which commemorated the capture of Quebec during the Seven Years' War. The fall of the Quebec led to the conquest of Canada by Britain, and was one of the greatest victories of the Seven Years War (1756-1763).
The original medal was executed by Thomas Pingo under the direction of the Society for Promoting Arts and Commerce. Featuring Victory, on tiptoe, holding a palm branch, crowning with a laurel wreath a trophy of captured French arms. At the foot of the arms, a bound captive is seated, with their head bowed.
