This 1oz. .999 Fine Copper Round made by Beaver Bullion was produced as a reproduction of the reverse of a medal that was issued in 1760, in commemoration of the fall of New France, when the last governor-general, Pierre Francois de Rigaud, Marquis de Vaudreuil-Cavagnal on September 8, 1760.

The original was engraved by John Pingo at the direction of the Society for Promoting Arts and Commerece, and features a weeping woman at the base of a tree, an animal that has been identified as a beaver or a stoat to her left.
