This 2024 coin is the tenth release in the Silver Wedge-Tailed Eagle Series. Designed by John Mercanti in collaboration with the Perth Mint. This coin features a wedge-tailed eagle with its wings outstretched, majestically in flight. The reverse design depicts the view of the wedge-tailed eagle as perceived from the ground. The design also features the inscription "AUSTRALIAN WEDGE-TAILED EAGLE," “2024 1 OZ 9999 SILVER," "10th ANNIVERSAY." For this year only, coins feature the "P125" mint mark in celebration of The Perth Mint's 125th anniversary! The obverse depicts Dan Thorne's effigy of His Majesty King Charles III.
