The Royal Canadian Mint teams up with the Royal Tyrrell Museum to continue this new series of must-have dinosaur coins - all to celebrate the Museum's 25th anniversary and to underscore its status as Canada's only museum dedicated exclusively to the science of palaeontology.
Albertosaurus was discovered first by Joseph B. Tyrrell and is now the most common of the large carnivores found in Alberta. This top predator of its time and a close relative of Tyrannosaurus rex will spring to action with a slight tilt of your new coin.
