2006 Canada 10th Anniversary $2 Original Roll of 25pcs

The historic two-dollar coin was first introduced 10 years ago to replace the two-dollar bill.
It's hard to believe a decade has passed since our beloved two-dollar coin first appeared in Canadians' change. It remains a distinctive source of pride and delight. The two-dollar coin features an outer ring of nickel and an inner core of aluminum bronze in a bi-metallic coin-locking mechanism patented by the Royal Canadian Mint. This innovative technology allows the coin to last about 20 times longer than the note it replaced. This year's anniversary issue features an update of the original design by accomplished artist Tony Bianco.
Coins are specially packaged in a limited quantity commemorative paper wrap.
