2002-P Canada 5-cent Roll of 40pcs
The beaver is the biggest rodent in Canada and second only to the capybara in the world. But there's more to it than these physical features. For generations, it was a source of food for peoples in what would become Canada, and it played a major role in economic development, especially during the fur trade. In this 2002P roll of 5-cents, the coins feature the well known image of the beaver that's complemented by the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II on the obverse.
This 5-cent coin also contains the letter “P” in the design. This letter is used to denote a plated coin. In 2000 the Royal Canadian Mint began releasing nickel-copper-plated steel-core nickels, and the “P” was used to mark these coins. Add this 40-piece coin roll to your collection today.
