1999 September Canada 25-cent Original Roll of 40 pcs
Starting in 1999 in honour of the new millennium, the Canadian government held a two-year circulating commemorative program that was conducted in two parts: one in 1999 and another one in 2000. All designs from 1999 feature images of Canada’s past. In an open design contest called “Create a Centsation” over 33,000 designs were submitted for consideration. Each program released one design each month and each came with a unique design. This September 1999 Canada 25-Cent Original Roll contains the coin, Canada Through a Child's Eye Millennium Quarter. This 25-cent features three children holding hands representing a united nation. Each roll contains 40 Royal Canadian Mint issued 25-cent coins for circulation.
