1999 March Commemorative 25-cent Original Roll
Celebrating the new millennium, the Royal Canadian Mind held a two-year circulating commemorative program that were conducted in two parts: one in 1999 and another one in 2000. All designs from 1999 feature images of Canada's past. In an open design contest called “Create a Centsation” over 33,000 designs were submitted for consideration. Each program released one design each month and each came with a unique design. This March 1999 Canada 25-Cent Original Roll contains the coin, The Log Drive Millennium Quarter. This 25-cent features historical reference of Canadian raftsmen and the significant contribution they made to the growth and prosperity of Canada. Each roll contains 40 Royal Canadian Mint issued 25-cent coins for circulation.
