Coin comes with COA and RCM issued case. This product may or may not come with the outer cardboard sleeve. As is typical with this series, the outer cardboard sleeve might have some light wear, the capsule may be scratched, and the coin might have light toning or toning spots.
Fitted with extensive electronic equipment for its anti-submarine warfare role, the Argus was one of the most sophisticated combat aircraft of its time. It first took to the skies in 1957 and entered service with the Royal Canadian Air Force the following year.
Powered by four huge piston engines, its high power and maximum fuel economy gave it long range and endurance. A specially strengthened airframe enabled it to withstand the rigours of low-level flying. The Argus boasted an advanced navigational system.
