Released in 1997, it celebrates the 25th anniversary of the 1972 Canada/Russia Hockey Series and Paul Henderson's winning goal for Canada. The reverse design is created by Canadian artist Walter Burden and it was inspired by an iconic painting of Andre L'Archeveque. The obverse comes with an effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by Dora de Pedery-Hunt.
