This Cougar platinum 4-coin set was released in 1992 which was part of the Royal Canadian Mint's Endangered Wildlife series that featured Canadian endemic animals. This year's issue showcased the Cougar which are made from .9995 fine platinum. With regard to design, the reverse has a variety of images showcasing the cougar while the obverse has an effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. This coin set comes presented in a beautiful wood case with a certificate of authenticity.
