1867-1992 Regular Loon Original Wrapped Roll of 25pcs
In 1987, the Government of Canada replaced the $1 banknote with a $1 coin. The changes in the coins were drastic, compared to the Voyager Dollar Series and the reverse Voyager design was replaced by the image of the Canadian Loon. On top of this, the 32.13 mm diameter was reduced to 26.72 mm; plus from its round shape nickel coin, it was changed to an eleven-sided bronze coin. Later on, the coin was heralded by many as the “Loonie.” Continue the tradition with this 1867-1992 Loon dollar roll of 25 pieces. It is made up of Royal Canadian coins that depict a common loon that's swimming against a Canadian shield, a design that was created by Robert R. Carmichael.
